Meet Brian Epstein, a young Jewish, (secretly) gay visionary who transformed music history. From running a Liverpool record store to shaping the sound of a generation, Epstein’s journey is a rollercoaster of ambition, passion, and relentless pursuit of greatness. This is his story from the  early 1960’s, “discovering” the likes of The Beatles, Cilla Black, Gerry and the Pacemakers,   thrusting them into the public’s awareness and then ultimately to his unnecessarily tragic   death at an early age.

An unsentimental, yet highly moving movie that through the life of one young man throws a light not only on some of our cultural heroes but also on an unforgiving side of Britain of just 60 years ago; a time that many of us will remember. Brilliantly acted with some great music.
