The book collections of Mosaic Liberal, Mosaic Masorti and Mosaic Reform have been relocated into a beautiful library in the Hall 5 of Mosaic Jewish Community in Stanmore.
Over 1,500 books have now been catalogued and colour-coded. Whether your interests lie in Jewish art and culture, literature, history, religion, cookery, Holocaust Studies, biography or travel, you will be sure to find something for you. There is also an extensive selection of children’s books and also some DVDs, videos and records.
If you wish to borrow anything, simply write the details in the register which kept in the library.
Next time you are visiting Stanmore, pop into the library and have a look. It is open whenever the building is open, except when it is being used for meetings. It provides a quiet haven of relaxation in a light and airy room. Be warned however – Â reading can be addictive and here you will find many books which are not widely available.
